Schluter®-KERDI-BOARD-SNLT is a
prefabricated shower niche made of KERDIBOARD that incorporates a mounting profile
with a diffused Schluter®
-LIPROTEC LED light
strip. A pre-installed, waterproof connection
box at the top of the niche ensures that the
electrical connection is code compliant. KERDIBOARD-SNLT features a 1/2" (12.5 mm) -thick
by 2" (50 mm) -wide integrated bonding flange
and is available in 3 sizes designed for a vertical
installation and 2 sizes designed for a horizontal
installation.
The mounting profile is made of anodized
aluminum with satin finish (AE) and is sized to
fit along the top of the niche. The LED light strip
is encased in a silicone tube that nests into the
mounting profile and provides an evenly diffused
line of light.
